The clouds know me by now
and I know them.
We both matter.
We are both matter.
We both don’t matter.
We come, we go.
We meet to part.
We take form in this world,
and then our form is taken —
We take from the world
and then the world takes from us —
everything, down to the “we.”
Allow this.
See precious life in the clouds
(a rabbit, a dog, a leaping horse).
See precious life in yourself
(a dancer, a ball player, a caregiver.)
Treasure existence.
And be prepared to (watch it) drift away.
